- Overview -
This is an role-playing venue where you may relax, socialize and expand your character's artistry in music. Carraoke's stage is open to any that would like to enact a story and demonstrate their musical talents (or lack of). Please be mindful of your fellow roleplayers that may be shy of taking to the stage to share their creativity with us, as well as any who are patiently awaiting their turn to perform. 18+ subjects are acceptable so long as they remain in the confines of SFW content. All gil-related transactions are strictly roleplay currency.At Carraoke, there are numerous methods to approaching its stage. You may roleplay your character singing a song to the best or worst of their abilities - there is no right or wrong way. Barding is permitted to accompany your character's song. Orchestrion accompaniment may also be utilized (though limited to my available orchestrion rolls). By request, you may also use a youtube video for your character's song with the inclusion or exclusion of its vocals, in which I can provide an external medium for other listeners of the venue for synchronization.Syncshell may be provided if inquired, but please keep stage performances within vanilla boundaries so that everyone may enjoy your song.Lastly, you are not required to roleplay. You are welcome to idly relax on the main floor of Carraoke and enjoy the atmosphere. If you are looking to engage in roleplay however, please utilize the /roleplaying tag as indication. Please don't feel intimidated if you feel like your experience in RP pales to others, as we were all there at one point. We simply ask that you remain respectful to others and their roleplaying.

The cocktail contains spirits from all over the star -- Garlean vodka, Turali tequila, Gridanian gin, La Noscean rum, and Ishgardian triple sec -- on ice, topped off with hibiscus ginger beer. A bit of Othardian plum syrup, slowly poured down the rim of the glass, gives the drink a lovely violet gradient.

The practice booth may be located upon entry upstairs behind the door to the left. This room may be utilized for practicing any performances you would like to share on the main floor.This room may also be utilized for OOC or a private RP with another if it is currently not in use. While no one will be capable of preventing you from doing so, Carraoke politely requests that private RPs within this location be utilized for SFW purposes only.Please excuse our out of order self-serve vending machine.
Allagan Television
Allagan Television offers an array of entertainment cinematography, commercials, and even radio-talk shows from across the star and beyond. Patrons are welcome to request a change in channel by simply asking Carraoke staff or whispering OOC.Ordered beverages from the bar may also occasionally prompt a commercial on its own if the television is already active.

Furthering the completion of the broadcasting station, the Loporrits pursued new projects that extended to the star of Etheirys. With the assistance of Inventingway's wit and Savingway's boundless musical archive, the Loporrits fabricated new equipment attuned to their broadcasting station. This intuitive and rather expensive piece of equipment insistently titled as a "Carraoke machine" is capable of playing recorded songs with lyrical accompaniment for entertainment, while allowing the Loporrits to listen to its singer. With the generous donation of a charitable benefactor, Hanako was able to acquire proper residence to house this technological creation within Kugane for use.This establishment persists as a location for the citizens of Etheirys to share their songs from beyond their own star, so that the Loporrits may further their connection to the people whom they cherish.
